I’ve played in a 10 minute time controlled match and someone with another engine beat me because of the time restraint, I was waiting quite a bit for stockfish to finish calculation. I know there is an option which can make the calculations faster. Any suggestions?
Instantly move the opening moves. Stockfish will always pick one opening until you leave the website and come back, you can gain a couple more seconds if you do that. This requires some memory like if black responds with a certain move, you should remember what stockfish did, and play that move quickly. After the opening is done, just set up the board coordinately to the game.
