Explaning a move

When the computer makes a move, would it be possible to see the reason? or am I asking too much of the site?

There’s a site called decode chess. But there’s no substitute for reading annotated games and seeing why good players make moves then applying that to your own games. You can’t ever really have a computer explain chess moves. Because the computer isn’t thinking about the game like we do.

It’s best to develop a system and then see what moves the computer likes.

Cheers Brad. I’ve just got back into chess after some 40 years and I’m loving it . Thank you best regards Mitch
